There's always a time

...when there are misunderstandings and fights between you and your parents. Well, that time happened on Sunday.

Over a driver's liscense.

You see, I was going to take driving lessons during winter break but I have SAT classes. But this is not a reason why I can't take driving lessons because I only have SAT classes every Saturday morning. But my "so called mom" thought that she should postpone this. Instead of me taking driving lessons, she signed up for it and next month, she's hitting down the rode taking 911 lessons. This is a problem for me. Why is it a problem? Well, first of all 911 are for beginners. She isn't a beginner. She took driving lessons before and she even has her permit, I believe. Besides, she already had 2 road tests but she kept cancelling and postponing it because she said she isn't ready yet. When is she going to be ready? She's 37, for God's sake!

I was totally disappointed because I need to take driving lessons first. There's more than being independent. Having a driver's liscense means that I could go to school early without having tardies. My aunt gives me a ride every morning (I live really far from school) and trust me, I've already had so many tardies. Having a driver's liscense also means that I could avoid taking the bus or taxi every afternoon. All of these could mean a lot to me but my mom never realize these. She even said that I could have my driver's liscense when I'm 18. 18! Is she joking? That's the year when I'm in college!

But that's not all. Because she knew I was totally disappointed about this, she started talking about my attitudes and how I'm not religious anymore, all of these nonsense. What does this have to do with driver's liscense? This is off topic. It made me super mad why she started talking about these crap and because of this, she gave me huge consequences like she's going to sell my snowboarding equipments and she also threaten me that I dont have money from my account. Oh, and you know what else? She grounded me from going snowboarding with my friend. (My friend invited me and her mom paid for it...but I guess I just have to pay her back)

This is too crazy for me! Why do mothers always think they're right all the time?

I'm so sorry all those stuff had to happen... especially the part where she grounds you and you have to pay back your friend.. that pretty much sucks..

an online friend invited me to go snowboarding... it'll be my first time.. yikes.. I'm turning red just thinking about how clumsy I'd look!! YUCKKKKKKYYYY!

"so called mom"... why? she's not your biological mom?? Anyway, maybe you can ask your dad to teach you? I didn't take driving lessons here professionally. My relatives took turns in "practicing" me... heheh.. saved money!!!
